Error code 3001

Hi!

I have a problem when I programming with NI-LabVIEW 2010.

I inserted the ActiveX controls(TX-Text Control ActiveX 14.0 ) in my LabVIEW project.

Sometimes, my project can not recognize(connect) activeX controls even if the activex control correctly installed on OS, so my program can not work correctly.(Error Code 3001)

When I install the LabView run-time engine 7.1.1, this problem disapear.

I don't know the reason of this. Why? Reason? Please help me.

You might try running the "NI Update Service" just to make sure you have the latest version of LabVIEW 2010.  Aside from that, its possible that the 7.1.1 RTE installer just happens to install some prerequisite of that control.  You'd have go to the control's provider to find out what prerequisites it has.  To rule out LabVIEW as the problem, you can also try using the ActiveX control in another environment such as Visual Studio, MS Office app, or in a ActiveX control tester.
