Error installing measurement and automation

I was trying to install the Measurement and Automation driver to communicate with instruments. However, it failed while installing (error message: " The NI Measurement & Automation Explorer 3.0 installation has failed. Continue? ").

The device driver CD is scratch (very deeply, can't be remove). I am not sure whether this has an impact on the failure or not.

Can anybody help me out here? Thanks

Could be the possible reason.

But you can down load relevant device drivers from drivers and updates section in this website
