Error when deploying executable onto Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC

Hi All,

I got the following error message when trying to deploy my executable built with LabView PDA module 8.2.

Can any one help?

Cannot find 'Button Input VIs - Pocket PC'  (or one of its components).  Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available.

hellolv,

When do you get this message?  When you build if for the PDA or while deploying it?  I have seen a similar error message that I have been able to resolve by simply restarting my computer, so that is the first thing I would try.  I would then open the project, right-click on the Build Spec and select Build.  Then right-click and select Deploy.  This will separate the two and we can get an idea when the error is happening.

Let me know! Thanks!

Hi Andy,

I built an executable and tried to open it on a Windows Mobile 5.0 device when the error message popped up.

Do you know what the best tutorials for PDA module?

Hi aradhya,

I hope you are doing well today! It seems to me that this device has an ARM compliant chip on it. Could you please confirm that for me? What exact steps are you taking to deploy the executable on the device? Also, what sort of functions are you calling/using in the VI itself?

Hi,
The PDA we are using has PXA255 ARM device. Please find the link below for more info about the device we are using:
I followed the procedure in the NI link  http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/5361
,instead of using device emulator i used WINCE POCETPC device as target. then build, then deployed the application to device.

We tested with other (ATMEL SAM9261 evaluation kit) WINCE based PDA Device,it worked fine with it.
