Errors! LKDYNAM.dll

I keep getting this error The procedure entry point NewVarDataFlexData couldn't not be located in the dynamic link libarry LKDYNAM.dll? How do i fix the problem? I am using labview 8

Can you please describe a little more about your application and what steps are taken before causing this error. Also, further software and driver versions will help. Are you using the LabVIEW Real Time module?

it happens when i open labVIEW 8.

Do you also have/had NI's Lookout or LV-DSC installed?

You have a bad Logos installation.  On your LabVIEW CD run the installer at:
<CD_ROOT>\Bin\Products\Logos\logos100\logos.msi
and repair the installation.  It should put the correct versions of those DLLs back on your system.

The path at which you can find the logos installer is given in the above post. You can find this installer on your LabVIEW CD.
