Ethercat Drivers for LV22

Heyo,

I recently installed and decided to start using LabVIEW 2022 to build my exes, however I can't seem to get the newest Ethercat Drivers for it.  nipm lists the most recent version as 21.5, which don't seem to be supported by LV22.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

This driver has not been released yet. There were some plans to release such a driver but it is not clear if that will be happening as a 22Q4 release or more likely a 23Q1 release. Considering the time of the year you should probably not hold your breath for it as it is likely going to be next year before it is available.

Hmmm interesting.  Is there any drivers I can use with LV22 to use Ethercat?

Is there a reason you're using LV22 other than "it's the most recent"?  As in, is there a specific new feature that you need?

All standard support software for LabVIEW (NI-MAX, DAQmx, NI-VISA, and so on) work with the 3 previous versions of LabVIEW.  So if you use LabVIEW 2021 you could still use the version 22 of everything else that has a version 22.

I'm guessing your options here are to wait for Ethercat to catch up, or do a downgrade of your version to 2021.  There weren't really any "big ticket" new items in 2022... nothing along the lines of Interfaces in 2020 or Maps/sets in 2019.
