Yes, but i cannot find the right drivers.

it is not that i want a copy paste solution but when i see how this guy it fixed, i think i can do it self in a shorter time then when i start at zero

Many manufacturers keep the command sets the same (within the limitations of the different instruments) for similar types of instruments or controllers. I would suggest downloading a MODBUS Eurotherm LabVIEW driver for another controller, downloading the "programming manual" or equivalent from Eurotherm and seeing how close they might be, command wise. Then you can use the parts that are the same, and modify, having seen how Eurotherm does certain things, those that aren't the same, or don't exist. This later part, of seeing how Eurotherm does things, is important. Modbus defines a communications protocol, how it is implemented varies widely from manufacturer to manfacturer.

Good Luck. Once you have a start it is probably a good idea to start a new thread mini8 specific, so that someone who might not have looked at this thread, they might not have a 2704 or interest in it but might be working with a mini8 or something equivalent, will see the new thread. Also, many people, in my experience, post and check the threads only when they have a problem, may be too wrapped up in their work after getting an answer, or pointed towards one, to look at even their own posts, so the original poster may not be back for a while, if ever.

i found a modbus library from NI.

and i can read and write registers, so the rest will be possible to do.

but i'm going to try it also on the way you described to find the best solution
