Excel ActiveX Error in LabVIEW 2020

Hi,

I am using LabVIEW 2020 (32 bit) & Office 365 (64 bit) in Win 10 OS PC. we are generating excel report using ActiveX method. In this we are calling *.xls template & import the test data & saving that excel as a report. We tested this EXE in two of our machines & it works properly but while running in client machine which has same excel version throughs an error (error attached). If any one have a solution to resolve this issue please share it.

Read in some other post that Office365 does not work well with the Report toolkit or the ActiveX methods. You need the older installation like Excel 2013 or so for the report generation to work.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I understood Office 365 version causing the issue (LabVIEW Crash in Executable at Save Report to File VI - NI). But I dont understand why its working in one machine & not in another even though Office version & build # is same. Do we need to check any excel configuration ? Or is there any method to register the current PC excel activeX & use it (if activeX functions are same) ?
