Excel

Has anyone managed to send formatted output into a cell in Excel from
Labview?

I can get numbers and text copied across fine, but am trying to get
something like that seen in the attachment. Note the "x" is from the symbol
font- it's not a letter x. I can't even get this directly from Excel- I have
to make dummy entries in Word, fill a whole range of cells with copies of
them and then doubleclick the cells to edit them by hand and put the correct
numbers in. The "NumberFormat" property is also little use. Highly
irritating.

I don't have to do a phenomenal amount of these so I'm not going to go
digging any deeper, but it'd be nice if someone's already tackled this 🙂

Hi Craig,

I think I found something for you.
In "LabVIEW Technical Resource" Vol.7 Number 2.
They have an article call "Bridging the gap between LabVIEW and Excel" (Using
the XL-VIEW Toolkit)
One section of the article is "Constructing Excel Equation"
Here is the WEB site http://www.ltrpub.com
I have a few LTR volume and it a very good source of LabVIEW information.
You can contact me for more information.

Hope that help.
