If you want to open/close the FP without seeing it customize the Windows Appearance to run 100% transparent.  You can set this in the VI itself, or you can run the VI by reference and wire the properties.

No, that's means it's not working here. I'm just supprised it works for you, cause I did exactly the way you said.

OK there is the confusion. I did not try it out because that trick (get image ) has always worked for all graphic update issue I have found until now.

 

The only way i can get it to work is to open the FP before and close just after.

 

I can't say it is a bug since the FP is closed and it works when it is open.

 

Sorry the old trick did not work.

There you go. I think I'll just use the Get/Write Image way or pehaps wire the data to the FP of main Vi and save it from there.
