Extract Most Significant Order

Dear All,

 

In my application(Order Analysis for Transaxle gearbox) i need to extract most significant order and magnitude. Iam using one accelerometer and one encoder(PPR 1000). From that input signal i need to extract one revolution data(AI data and Speed Profile) and i need to feed to order analysis . For that iam using below configuration,

AI Channel1 - Accelrometer signal

CounterInput1 (Period Measurement - low frequency)- Encoder Signal

External clock(PFI line) - Encoder Signal.

Mode- Continious read mode

Samples to read for AI and Counter- Encoder PPR(1000).

From that period measurement iam calculating speed and form speed profile along with arrival of time.

While reading analog input in daq based on external clock pulse i can get the data but problem is that  dt is calculating based on sampling rate  in the parameter setup not based on external clock pulse rate. If i pass this signal to order tracking it will give prober result or not?

Instead of using external clock if i use onboard clock then order analysis can i get prober result? if it is possible then how to extract one revolution data?Irrespective of rotation if i pass data to order analysis can i get prober result?

 

Iam using Labview - 8.6.1

NI PCI card - 6250
