F.P. "Image Display" control/indicator "ROI Tools" toolbar documentation - where is it?

Where in the LV help or PDF bookshelf or on-line can I find documentation for the "ROI Tools" toolbar that is associated with a front panel Image Display indicator or control?

 

I keep hoping that one of these days NI will actually implement right-click context help for front panel controls and indicators to bring up complete descriptions of their features. For most controls, the help might seem rather basic (depending on how through or quick & dirty NI was in documenting it) but there are some controls that are rather complex and good documentation for them has always been rather sparse in LV.

If you right click the ROI Tools the third option under Visibile Items is ROI Tool Button Visibility... This will show you the names of each of the buttons. Besides that there is one paragraph in the Vision Concepts Manual which says:

A collection of tools that enable you to select a region of interest from an
image. These tools let you select points, lines, annuli, polygons, rectangles,
rotated rectangles, ovals, and freehand open and closed contours.

There is also mention of its use once in chapter 11 - Edge Detection - in the introduction.

That is all the documentation that I found.

I had no idea that the visibility of the individual buttons could be controlled. Just another place where better documentation could help.

Your pointer to the Vision Concepts manual was the key for me. On page 2-9 (PDF 40 of 414) I stumbled across a table that more or less describes what the buttons will do. That's good enough for me.

Now I just have to note it somewhere so I won't lose track of it...
