FFT real and imaginary part in Labview

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello all,

I have a very quick question, After performing a FFT in LabView, I want to isolate the real part of the FFT from it Imaginary part for further treatment. Which VI should I use? Could you please direct me step to step to it?

Is it possible?

Many Thanks for your help.

Hi,

You could try the VI

FFT Spectrum (Real-Im) VI Located in the Waveform>>AnalogWaveform>>Waveform Measurement Subpallete.

Note: This Requires: Full Development System

In the Numeric >> Complex palette you will find the Complex to Real Re/Im primitive.  This will work with arrays such as those which the FFT VI generates.

The thank Lynn by clicking the kudoes button under his name and logo.  And also marking his post as the solution to your question rather than your own thank you message.

First you will have to go to the options menu to the upper right of your last message to unmark it as the solution.
