It is working, we're getting into symantics now.
I actually find on my system that when I open the remote VI and run it, it deploys and starts running.
Then, when I open the local VI and run it, it deploys the remote VI again.
When I leave the remote VI open and select disconnect in the project, the remote VI continues to run on the RT but the front panel stops and can be closed.
If I close the front panel of the remote VI before disconnect, it stops the program.
ANYHOW...
