I did just check and noticed you were the same person I worked with too. I had the chance to set up your system on one of my machines and was able to run a FPGA VI on an Administrator Account and also a limited account. I tried several different Alias and they all seemed to work fine as well as not creating an alias as well and selecting the resource from a control box. I did make sure that the FPGA vi and Host vi used was accessible in a shared folder. If you select the Alias from a control box does it still give you the same error?
