FPGA Timekeeper not returning counts

Solved!
Go to solution

I haven't used FPGA timekeeper before and my question may be a bit beginnerish. I don't see too many usage examples either (RT and FPGA side).

I have downloaded FPGA TimeKeeper 1.1b0 from NI's site. I placed the FPGA and RT pieces into my application. I don't see the right output. I am not sure what I am missing. FPGA code returns 0 always, so it looks like its not counting? Here are screenshots

Quick info

- When I run FPGA in interactive mode, I see the FPGA time keeper and sample count update. When I read from the host, its always zero. I am thinking its got to do something with clock rates perhaps?

It looks like I had to select "dynamic" in the Open FPGA Reference and everything worked as expected.
