Favorites palette contents gone?

Every time I shutdown LabVIEW the contents of my favourites palette disappears.

I am running LV 9.0f2 32bit on Windows7 64bit

Has anyone else seen this?

Regards,

Steve.

Hey Steve,

I've had a quick play, and installed LV9.0 with the patch onto a 64bit Win7 machine here in the office. Was this a problem before you installed the f2 patch?

I don't get the same problem so could you try a reinstall?

Hi Dominic,

I originally posted as I was pretty annnoyed at repeatedly loosing the contents of the favourites pallette during a busy week and I didn't really have chance to find out exactly what was happening.

As I have been less busy now I have tried to replicate the behaviour but can't! I'm wondering if it something with the particular project I was working on.

It hasn't started since the f2 patch as I have had that since I installed 2009. If I can find what is causing it I'll get back.

Many thanks,

Steve.

Hey St3ve,

If you manage to replicate just post the details here, I've subscribed to the thread so I'll get an email.

Hi Dominic,

I don't know if you're still subscribed to this thread but it isn't my imagination.

The contents of the favourites palette does not seem to be stored when using the RT module. I am targetting a cRIO in a project using LabVIEW 9.0f3.

The reason I couldn't pin it down before was because I was spending a lot of time flicking between host VIs and RT VI's and it just seemed like sometimes it was there and others it wasn't!

Regards,

Steve.
