Dear all.
After plotting the measurements from my light detector, I obtain the spectrum of a lamp and saving the data in an array. However, I'm assuming that some optical interference in my optical system is generating undesired noise. X axis is wavelength and Y is voltage. Someone knows how filtering a signal that is not time based using LABVIEW? I've attached a picture of my output with a zoom near the highest value.

Hi Dranek,
Someone knows how filtering a signal that is not time based using LABVIEW?
it doesn't matter if your X axis is showing time or wavelength: you can apply the same filtering functions on your Y data…
my optical system is generating undesired noise
Use a low pass filter, even a simple running average might be sufficient…
Btw.: There's a reason why BMP images are banned in this forum: they are just HUGE!
Use real JPG or (even better) PNG image formats!
