Where do you find 0x00 in my vi?
EDIT: Found it. It must be in the binary picture SC:)

CAR 714909 (Search stops on 0x00)
CAR 714912 (0x00 in a label creates an insane object)
I can imagine the 2nd won't get as much priority as the first. Those CARs should turn up in the release logs, so you can check if they are fixed in a new release.
