Find all calls to a DAQ task

Solved!

Hello,

I have several DAQ tasks defined at a project level.  Sometimes, I would like to find where each of these tasks is used.  Is there a way to find all references to a DAQ task?

Do you want to find task references at edit time? or run time?

I guess CTRL+F and searching for text in the block diagram works.  The only problem is it finds any texts that matches, which I then have to sift through.
I was hoping that there would be direct way to search for references to a DAQ task

Are you aware that at the top of the "Find" box, after it finishes looking through all VIs, that there is the option to apply further filters just on that list?

If you do so, you can type in things like "constant" so it will filter out labels, comments, and so on.  It's still not perfect, but it's an option.

I was not aware of the filter option.  Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I must have been looking past it for years.

You're right, it's not exactly what I'm looking for but it probably be useful in the future.

I don't use tasks set up in MAX or a project but the snippet may give some clues.
