Firewire 1394b cardbus

Hi,
I purchased a Sony CCD camera along with Firewire 1394b. I wonder if
LabVIEW 8.0 has drivers for 1394b.
Your help will be appreciated.

Hello BA,

I was able to find a KnowledgeBase document at http://www.ni.com/support by searching under the keyword “1394b” that I believe may answer your question.  I have attached a link to the page below.  Please let us know if anything is unclear or if you would like further information that is not provided in the KB.  There is also a link at the bottom of the KB to our Vision software, in particular Vision Acquisition where the driver can be found.  Furthermore, the current 1394 drivers on our website support LabVIEW 7.0 and higher.  I hope this answers your question.
