Framerate

Hello all,

I have the problem that my framerate is only 15 fps instead of 25fps.
I already tried to change the image type, but it has no effect.
If I don't save the images with imaq write my framerate is ok, but I need to save them.
Which other solutions are possible to make the framerate higher?

System:

PCI-Bus 1411
Philips CCD(25fps)
LabView 7.1, Imaq-Vision
Win NT 4.0

Hello!

I believe that you are making both things (acquisition and save) in serial, we can make these two thing in different threads, but send me an example of your program.

Hello again,

It´s possible that the "save" is taking a lot, try to separate them, but with queues.

thanks, but I didn't work with queues yet. May you send me a litle example? This would be very friendly.

Hello again,

I've looked at these examples, but they didn't realy help me. I don't know how to put the queue-function into my program.

Bye
