GPIB Error with Multiple Bertan Power Supplies

Solved!
Go to solution

I am using code from this vi package:

 http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=E3B19B3E9635659CE034080020E748...

and I tried connecting two power supplies to GPIB (with one of the supplies turned off).  When I run the Bertan 225 simple I get the following error code (see attachment as well):1073676294 and the voltage does not read properly.

When only one of the Bertan power supplies is connected to GPIB I do not get an error and the voltage is read correctly.

Thanks for any help,

Kevin

You should not be using GPIB with a 1 of 2 instruments powered off. The spec requires two thirds of the devices to be powered. Power it on and see if the warning (NOT an error) goes away.
