Gateway set to 0.0.0.0 when running NI services

Has anyone experienced problems with the Internet connection on PCs with LabVIEW and DHCP-assigned IPs? We seem to get the same effect as people have seen from Apple's Bonjour on Vista/Win 7 - the gateway is set to the default 0.0.0.0, with the actual gateway address as a secondary gateway. The problem then has 3 solutions; either delete the 0.0.0.0 route manually, use a manual metric on the network card and set this very high...OR - and this is where it gets a bvit interesting; put a delay on the NI services that starts up due to the fact that the machines have LabVIEW installed.

Its still a bit early to tell - and we have not isolated the effect to any particular NI service...but delaying those servicesdefinitely fixes the gateway problem...So - has anyone else seen this?

PS. None of the machines have Bonjour installed (of course).

Dear Mads,

thank you so much for your post on our webforum. I couldn't find any information about thid being a known issue. You have the problems on multiple PC's?

Are they all using the same Labview version? Is more NI software installed (drivers), can you provide me with the version numbers of those?

Best regards,
