Generating TTL signal using BNC2110 DAQ board

Hello,

I am trying to generate a TTL signal using BNC2110 board to offer TTL to the Zyla camera. I connect the trigger cable to the TRIGGER/COUNTER BNC port (PFI0/P1.0 ). But there is no TTL signal out. Can you please help me have a look if it is the problem from the LabView code or the BNC2110 cable connection?

Thank you

The BNC 2110 is a "terminal block".  It is designed to be connected to an NI DAQ device that plugs into the multi-pin connector in the upper right, and provides you with a series of BNCs to bring the various Analog and Digital signals in (or out) on BNC cables.  It is pretty much a purely passive device, to the best of my knowledge.  You can probably go online and search for BNC 2110 and find a manual for this (if you don't have one already).

Thanks Bob,

I have downloaded the BNC2110 manual. It only shows how each part means in different ports. But for the cable connection, I am still confused whether I need to connect the trigger cable (from the ANDOR camera) to the upper right pins or the BNC TRIGGER port as I attached in the picture?  Or do I need to connect other cables?

Thank you so much

Best regards

Yu

I don't think the BNC 2110 makes any signals -- it is basically a "patch panel" between some NI Hardware (shown below, in "What you need to get started" from the BNC 2110 manual) and "User-friendly Connectors (such as BNCs).
