Get Date/Time in Seconds is 39 minutes off?!?

Hello -

On my cRIO-9012 (with LabView 8.5.1f4) I am using Get Date/Time in Seconds in a 10Hz timed loop and I observe a very odd problem.  When I 'probe' it, it's 39 minutes off.  Not 1 hour, not 7 hours (my offset from GMT), but 39 minutes ahead.

1) I've set the time zone with MACs.

2) I've used set_RT_time_from_PC.vi, and selected 'set local time'

2a) ... actually, I've tried every setting at least once (set date, set UTC time) with no difference

3) I've CONFIRMED the time with check_RT_time - reports just fine!

4) After resetting, I deploy my code, and 'probe' only to find a 39 minute offset.

Heeeeeelp!

Hi marksalada,

To make sure this isn't a hardware problem, try reinstalling Real-Time to the controller.  You can follow the directions here:

Thanks for the response - it's odd that I note that the option to automatically adjust for daylight savings is greyed out - can't set it either on or off...?  Option not available for v3.0.0?

Hi Mark,

You should be able to adjust for daylight savings in LabVIEW 8.5.1.  To make sure I'm clear on this issue, is the probe off by 39 minutes or the actual value?
