Get Informations from WordPad in LabVIEW

I want to read whole text and its font-attributes of a WordPad-File (Win NT4) in LabVIEW 6. Is there any possibility, maybe via active X?

If not possible, maybe with Word 97?

Not sure about WordPad, but you can use ActiveX to do anything you want with ActiveX. There are some good examples, and if you can afford it, even a toolkit to control Word using ActiveX.
