Get the Scale inofrmation from MAX > Scales > Traditional NI DAQ from LV?

Solved!

Could anyone tell/show or rule out reading the custom scales in MAX?

I have what is left over from an app I developed back in LV 6.1 that the customer wants me to bring back to life.

I have managed to suck out the custom Scales from the old system and they show up in MAX (this LV 2010 BTW) under

Scales > Traditional NI-DAQ Custom Scales

I can see them and review the scale info with MAX BUT

I am lazy.

I have about 50 custom scales with many of the scales being of the "table" variety which means I have about 50 pairs of numbers in each table.

I would love to get at it prgramatically since that would reduce a lot of time and reduce typos, but I have never tried to get at MAX previously and a new learnig curve to get at something that may not be possible...

So I am asking if nayone has explored that road previous to now and if you can offer any pointers.

Take care,

Ben

Ben,

Traditional NI-DAQ has a "Get Scale Information" VI that may do what you are looking for.  I'm on Windows 7 at the moment, so I'm not able to set it up and test it, but I'd recommend starting there.

It's located under Traditional NI-DAQ » Calibration and Configuraiton » DAQ Channel Utilities
