Yep, your workaround is along the same lines as my own in Post #9.

I agree I can only conclude that they have changed something between the versions.

Out of interest, Did test2_djc1.vi not work on your machine.

I'm glad you were able to find a workaround. I just wanted to let you know that I noticed your post and I agree that the behavior is quite strange. It seems to be tied to the key focus property, the user dialog, and the event structure all being used together. I have reported the issue to R&D for investigation so that hopefully we can get to the bottom of it. Thank you both for your feedback!
