can anyone tell me how to monitor a folder i.e a program shd always keep on checking if tr is a file or nt in the specified directory if present it shd process otherwise it shd b quit cn any one help me in tis regard??

since i am using 7.1 version m nt able to find a fnt called "check if file or folder exits " in the selected path ,so cud anyone plezz help me in this regard ,humble request,plezzzzzzzzz!!:mansad:,i hav also attached my code ,since m a begginer in lab view i wud always welcome ur feedbacks .........

Use :"file/directory info" (or whatever it was called in the 7.1 days).
Look at the error output. If you get an error, the file does not exist.

can any one tell me what is the actual use of property node .........!!
i went through many NI examples could not get what is property node and its use ,so i request anyone to help in this regard

The property node is used to set a property of a control or indicator. There may be dozens, or even hundreds of properties for a particular control depending on its type. Properties could be position, size, visibility, color, display format, .....
I would recommend looking at the online LabVIEW tutorials
