Hi, I am acquiring a 1.2 Million Samples using a PCI-6110. I graph these points to create a waveform graph.
The waveform is coming from a spinning engine, 1.2 Million Samples is 6 revolutions of this device (aka, 200,000 per revolution).
Since this is an engine, each revolution is different, for example:
Rev 1=COMPRESSION, Rev 2=NON-COMPRESSION, Rev 3=COMPRESSION, Rev 4=NON-COMPRESSION, Rev 5=COMPRESSION, Rev 6=NON-COMPRESSION
I have thresholds for the wafeform that are dependent upon if it is a compression or a non-compression stroke....so the thresholds change each rev.
What I want to do is graph 2 lines on the graph that represent the high and low thresholds...but this line is not straight, it changes each revolution.
I have accomplished this (see the attached picture), BUT it is very memory and CPU intensive and is not practicle for my application...I am hoping someone out there has an idea of how to do this much more efficiently.
Attached is a sample vi showing how I am currently doing it, along with a picture showing what it looks like working (and what I want it to look like...)
I am using LabVIEW 7.1
Thank you for your help!
