Group plots in stacked mode waveform chart

Hi,

I am trying to display multiple channels. Some channels are related and better placed together to display, and some channels need their own displays.

I want to use one Waveform Chart in the stacked mode (different sub-chart for different channels) because it's easy to adjust the time scale together for all channels and can play back data at run time or off time with the native scroll bar.

But can I put 1 channel in 1 sub-chart, and 2 channels in 1 sub-chart? Can I also do this dynamically and programmatically?

Thanks,

Rut

Thanks, Mike. The thread is very helpful, but seems I may have to do some craftwork.

I found another way. Just select the Active Plot and change the Plot Area size's height to 0, and play with the Plot Area color. Then resize existing plot areas. See the attached VI.
