Gtting error 7 message

No changes have been saved to the vi's in the ni library, but i keep getting erro message?

Does the path control (terminal all the way on the left) contain a valid file name before you run the VI?

Is there a way to change it so it dosen't have to contain a valid file name before running the VI?

You can use the File Dialog VI in the File I\O>>Advanced palette instead of the control. This will allow you to pick a file.
