A capacitor is an electrical component. LabVIEW is a programming language and would have no need for capacitors/resistors, etc anymore than other programming languages. Are you sure you need LabVIEW and not a schematic capture program.

NI do have a product named Multisim http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/201800 But this is the Labview forum. And Labview is NOT a circuit simulator

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)

Propably this programming language was introduced to you with something like: 'it's similar to drawing electronic circuits'.

<Seastory>

This happened to me about 10 years ago (Version 5).

I did examine the boolean palette.

Then I did try to draw a Flip-Flop

It didn't work, so I went through the tutorials

 </Seastory>

Also LV looks very similar to a circuit design program, it's not analog electronics, it's programming. And it's much cooler than JAVA or C#. (I also think that a schematics software is much cooler than a text editor).

So I suggest you, if you don't desperatly need 'some power electrincs circuits', start programing with LabVIEW.

thanks frnds for ur reply i was lil confused that we can make circuits,, i was goin in wrong direction i was too planning to make flip flops with it,,, i m very new to this software so i m in learning stage so these discussions will really help me out i will learn from urs experience rather going in the wrong way wasting my time nd learning thanks once again for the reply,, have a nice day

Ooooohhhhh,  Send me the source code, that is if it is not proprietary and you are willing.  This would be a nice tool to have.

No that is an application meant to show some properties of ideal operational amplifiers. That is evident in the non inverting amp section. Assuming ideal opamp. That has infinite input impedance. No current will flow in the feedback loop. So it will be zero voltage drop over rf. Hence V_output=V_input. A simulator would have picked that up 😉

OK, so you picked up on that.... but did you notice that the Diff Amp isn't workig at all? Smiley Wink
