Check out the examples. This is an often overlooked, but extremely useful tool for beginners and advanced users alike (who are learning new concepts.) I learned LabVIEW almost exclusively with the examples.

I also recommend you get a hold of a copy of "LabVIEW for Everyone" by Jeffrey Travis. Great book.
