HP 3589a network analyzer labview driver

OK lets try this.

1. open the grabit program.

2. open the vi inside the grabit program called data collector.

3. inside this vi change the address to the address of your instrument. (change the 10 to whatever your address is)

4. run vi and look at the data if there is nothing change the constant from calc2:data? to calc1:data? and run again and tell me the results.

And for your information calc2:data? means trace B and calc1:data? means trace A.

Do not use any other VI. I do not know waht vi you modified before but there is no trace data vi inside the grabit program.

Hi! Joe:

I follow your direction and try it again, I found that if i run the program as "highlight excecution" mode,  the dialog" collecting data complete" appear, and after i push "OK" button. The signal appeared in the grabit program, but if i did not run the program as "highlight excecution" mode, i still can not see the signal.

You have two many programs going at the same time the grabit program does not have a dialog display in it. Now go back to my last post and do it again. You are not using the correct program.

Disregard all other programs and lets start new.

here it is in LV7 it should work just fine I had to down convert it 2 times but it works for me. Let me know how it works for you if it does at all. also let me know of any errors. This is a hack together so do not expect it to be perfect.

Hi! Joe:
That works! ,thanks a lot!  are there any way i can make continous measurement?  .i try to add a while loop for the whole diagram, but it seems the signal is not stable then, and the X axis is not frequency domain. How can i use your main grabit program?
