Hi,
I am trying to drive my HP 70950B Optical
Spectrum Analyzer (GPIB).
The only instrument driver download I can find in
the NI website and HP (Agilent) website is that
of a later HP OSA model (8614X), which does not
seem to correctly communicate with my instrument.
Sure enough, I found out from NI that a later
model, though the same manufacturer and
instrument type, does not necessarily communicate
with an older model.
I called HP/Agilent to ask if I can
download/purchase an instrument driver for the
70950B OSA. I was told that that model was
obsolete, and they pretty much urged me to
purchase a new OSA.
That is not what I wanted to do, since my company
is on a budget, plus time is off the essence to
get my programs writ
ten.
Can someone please let me know where I can
download an instrument driver for the HP 70950B?
