HP53310A Read Data Vi Feature

I am glad to see that you agree with Dennis 
. I guess it depends upon what your job is defined to be. My job consists of providing automated test software and/or systems for our lab. In order to do this I have assumed (Yes I know what that stands for) is that the drivers I use work as advertised, most of the time they do, but in this case they did not. Every once in a while I find myself spending more time tweaking/modifying drivers than I think I should, in order accomplish the main objective, which is a test system. My job is not to be a driver writer, it is to provide a complete test system. I would like to spend more time using drivers that work as expected so that I can find more ways to increase the level of automation in our lab.

So as promised in a earlier posting, attached is the updated vi from the HP53310A that interrogate the data stream coming back from the instrument to always read the proper amount of data from the instrument. Hopefully if the HP53310A elect to update the driver library, they will incorporate it.
