Have EXEs, VIs have been lost due to hard drive failure, help!

For obvious security reasons I'm sure this isn't going to be possible but I thought I'd take chance here.  The victim of 2 hard drive failures in the span of 3 days (unbelievable), I have lost the original source files for a couple of crucial VIs.  I was wondering if there was anything that could be done to decompile the EXE back to the VIs?  Not sure if the serial number of the Labview system used to develop the EXE is stored anywhere to prove ownership?  Perhaps NI themselves offer a service to do something like this?  I'd be willing to pay for it, it makes me sick to my stomach to think about redoing everything.

Thanks in advance.

I know this doesn't help the situation and what you're trying to do, but I will put in a plug for using source code control here. You should use it and have it on an external server for reasons exactly like this.

There are companies that can attempt to recover data from drives that have crashed.

Depending on the failure mode and the amount of data, it can range from 100's to 1000's of dollars.

I had to use one when we bought a piece of used equipment and the drive mechanically crashed shortly after we powered up the system. 100% success in this case. Your mileage may vary.

If you're using LabVIEW 2009, you might be recover re-usable VIs. but no diagram.
