Heat exchanger

Hello,

I'm trying to create a labview program, where u can control and simulate a Heat exchanger process.
But i find it hard to start anywhere and didn't found anything yet. is there any particular sub VI i can use ? or does anyone has anything where i can start with ?
I would appreciate if it was not to complicated but that doesn't matter that much.
For example something where oil is cooled by water or air. and an option to choose water or oil. or a place where i can input the value's (specifications of water and oil)
is this able to make by just putting some formules togheter ?

Hi John,

for simple heat exchanger formulars open a good book on thermodynamics..

The tricky part comes when there is a (partly) phase change ....
