I want to graph and logg four analog channels at a sample rate about 100 000/s. My question is: are the channels scanned at the exact same time, or one after the other? Is there a delay between the samples? I'm using a PCMCIA Card. I ask this, because I somtimes got a delay of one sample between two channels when I logg the same rectangle signal at these both channels Thank you for your help
Unless you are using a simultaneous sampling device (NI 61xx, etc.), there is a delay between samples. This delay is dependent upon the type of scanning that you are performing.
