Histograms .hist files - please help!

I need to view ".hist" type files (Histograms) and I can't find any apropriate program for that. it's a 2D usual histogram and I wonder if anyone can suggest something easy for Windows.
"Root" is no good for me.

Maybe anyone has some Vi that does this? - Takes .hist files and displays on screen?

Please I need it bad.

Hello BadCRC,

what format have your "usual .hist-files"? How do you want to display them? Be a little more specific on that!

You surely want to have some kind of graphics instead of a simple text display? Maybe you should try the intensity graph.
Are your data spaced evenly or do they use arbitrary distances from point to point? For evenly spaced data I have written programs (mainly to interpret/display measurements on wafer level aka chip-mappings). For arbitrary spaced data you need some kind of interpolation...

Best regards,

Hello BadCRC,

have a look at the attachment, this should give you some ideas...

You really should explain a liitle bit more your needs. I don't know by now what a .hist files looks like. If you can't explain by words, attach an example...

Best regards,
GerdW
