How I control the movement/motion?

I need to control the operation or motion of the compensator.

How can I start? What all modules I should learn or required using Labview?

What are the parameters for concern?

How to get started?

Hey Kraze4lv,

Can you be more specific to what module you are using, and the setup you have?

I am using NI 6251, NI5105 and PXI-1031.

I need to control the movement of  the compensator which is axis movement.

I am very new to motion control. What module I need and how should I start? I am attaching the figure of the compensator.

Hi,

Have you looked over any of the Tutorials, Knowledge Base articles, or examples available in the NI Developer Zone? I think it will be very useful for you to take a look over some of these to get a solid idea of how we want to set up a motion system. The Motion System Selection Guide and Building an NI Motion Control System document will likely be very helpful for you in selecting your hardware. The Fundamentals of Motion Control document may also be a great resource for you. There are a great number of other Tutorials and examples on how to get started with NI Motion available on the NI Developer Zone as well.

Is that information helpful for your applications?
