How can I convert a Labview 5.x vi to current

Hi Kurt,

you need a LabVIEW version before 8.5 or the conversion tool which you can order at NI. Another way is to post your vi and someone convert it for you.

The conversion tool is only for older VI's, not 5 or later.  For 5.x to current (8.6) you will need an intermediate version.  Check out the table here.  It shows exactly which VI versions will open in which LabVIEW versions.

Hope this helps!

Can someone convert these VI's for me. They are for an HP 4274a. They are in Labview 5.1. Any Labview later than 6.x would be fine--the later the better up to Labview 8.6.

Thanks. My email is peterdingus@urielsolar.net.

Duplicate post.

If you're going to post a conversion request in more than one place please indicate that you have done so, so people don't waste their time converting something that has already been converted for you in your original post.

Sorry. I posted that (duplicate) about a week ago and assumed it went unanswered since I got no reply. Thanks Jiri Keprt.
