How can I overlap a XY Projection of a 3D Graph with a JPEG ?

hi,

I' am developing a beamformer, an the result is plotted in a 3D Graph ... my problem is it to overlap the XY-Projektion of the 3D Graph (or especially the problem is the conversation of the XY- projektion to a picture ) with a picture or video of the firewirecam. The solution with "invoke node" is not really helpful in this sense because there is a delay  and its not really possible to realise it without showing the 3D graph.

I would be grateful for tips how I can implement this

Please post a sketch of what you are attempting and some code that shows what you have so far.

I am not sure if this helps but in reply #25 of the Railraod thread  (maybe post#32?)I posted a zip where I mapped a jpg to a surface that represented my train layout's landscape.

The results looked like this.

In your case you will map your image to a plane.
