How can I prevent users from exiting a stand-alone .exe?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I've only started using Labview and just made my first stand-alone .exe.

This software cotrols a device which should operate 24/7, and I don't want anyone to exit it, even by mistake.

I want to create a "Are you sure you want to exit?" or to prevent an exit in anyway.

Thanks,

Pini =]

Register for the 'Application Close?' and 'Front Panel.Close?' events, in those event place your question and based on the feedback discard (disable) the event.

Hi Pini,

you can also disable users ability to close the vi in the vi properties (window appearance)...

Best regards,

Thanks both of you guys!

Did use the second one in the end, but only after I did the first.

Sadly I can't put two 'solved' icons.

but problem solved, thanks again! =]
