How can I programmatically connect to a remote front pannel?

I have two Labview applications, running on different PCs. From one of these applications, I want to programmatically select a remote front panel (from the other application), and connect to it.
Actually, I want to programmaticaly do an "Operate & Connect to Remote Panels". I don't want to use an ActiveX container to view an active web browser, which has a pretty bad time response updating the panel.

I would suggest posting this question to the LabVIEW General category. Since this problem doesn't directly relate to the DSC Module, you will reach a larger audience in the LabVIEW General forum.
