How can I run a SubVi in background when a sequence is running in the main VI

Hi rexator,

to show pictures here in the forum you first attach them to your post, then edit the post to include them in the message body using the link to the attchment. So they will be visible to all users - some might be prevented from using 3rd party image hosters!

Dont know how to attach 😞 Cant see any button/link/option... I am sorry.

I can only see toolbar when posting, with Insert/edit image, Insert/edit link and so on.. all that work for me. I can see image I am posting. 

Furthermore even dunno how to edit post!

 

But the link to the pic should work for anyone, right?

Any ideas where I went wrong with code? Please?

Finally I have found what caused that behaviour myself.

To be able to use both windows (main and subVI), make sure that none of those is set to Modal (VI properties -> Window Appearance -> Customize..)

For me it was best to set to Default 😉
