How can replace Boolean Control with a symbol and still maintain the boolean function

Pop-up and choose advanced >>> Customize to open the control in the control editor.

 

Click the button that looks like a wrench to switch to edit mode.

 

Right-click and choose "import from File" and choose a file with the image you want.

 

Repeat the "import from File" for the other states if needed.

Copy a picture of the symbol to the clipboard. In the Edit menu, go to "customize control", then, in the "Control" window, right click the control and select "Import picture from clipboard". Repeat the operation for all the boolean states. Alternatively, in the "Control" window, switch to edit mode (using the wrench button), then right click the control and select the appropriate picture import mode.
