How do I bring the front pannel forward when I call a sub VI?

When I call a sub VI I would like it to open the front panel of the vi.

When I am done, I would like it to close?

I have done this before but I can not remember how.

If you always want this behaviour for the subVI in quesiton then, right click on the icon of the subVI in question. Select VI properties, drop down the box to window appearance, select custom and check the box marked show front panel when called, and the the one that will ungrey labeled close afterwards if originally closed.  Done.
