How do I delete a token in the Instrument I/O assistant in LV 7?

Does anyone know how to completely delete a token from the i/o assistant? I ereased the name and selected it to not be an output (when right-clicking on it), but it is still there and now my outputs are messed up! Thanks!!

I'm assuming that you mean that when you delete that token that when the I/O assistant recompiles that you do not want to have to rewire your whole code. with that being said there is no way around that happening. but there is a work around. What you need to do is leave your code wired they way you want it.Right click on the Assistant and select open front panel and from there delete the ring you want and that will not screw up your program as far as rewiring it. hope this helps

To delete the token, you can either right click on the token in the response window and select "Remove Token" or click on the token in the response window to give it focus and hit the delete key. You can also start from scratch and delete all the tokens in the block by selecting "Clear Parsing".

You cannot delete the token from the Outputs list, you must delete it from the response window in the right hand view of the Assistant.

I hope this helps.
